            This is a story about how and why people make choices in their life.  Jay, a young boy, wants to help his grandfather find the answer to the question; “Why do moth’s fly into the flame?”  He is granted a birthday wish and is able to talk to bugs for one month.  As he interviews a variety of insects he becomes a part of their world and begins to learn a lot about himself.  The story of some of his grandfather’s life and struggles as a young boy is also told.  Jay and his grandfather finally meet with an old burned moth who had tried to fly into the flame, but had failed and had always wondered why?  All three will find the answers to their questions; even the ones that they didn't ask.
